Abandoned Property Specialists will safely and securely handle your data in our processing environment. You will have access to a secure, password-protected download section of the Abandoned Property Specialists website that contains all the necessary reports for each state. Download all the files to your computer and print the PDF documents. Then mail the report packages to each state with a check.

Some states require online report filing. That will already be completed before you get your escheat reports. A proxy report for your records will accompany each seasonal report set for those states requiring online filing.

Many states require "negative reporting". This is an affirmation that you have no abandoned property to report. Negative reports are only necessary after initially reporting property to states that require them. It is common not to have any reportable property for the next reporting season.

Records can be retained and aged or you may elect to send a new set of records each year. A set of preliminary reports are generated for your approval before any processing is done.

Pricing for Services

Annual fee	The $2,000 annual fee covers the both the Spring and Fall filings. If you sign up before the Fall filing, the following Spring is included. If you sign up before the Spring filing, the following Fall is included. You can cancel services at any time but the annual processing fee is non-refundable.
Processing fee	A decrementing scale is used to determine a fair price for the record processing fee. Download the processing fees document for details.
Due Diligence fee	Due diligence services are also provided on a decrementing scale. Download the due diligence fees document for details.
Data Manipulation fee	Data cleaning/parsing or manual entry is billed at $100 per hour in 6 minute intervals.

New Client Special

Sign a 2 year contract and the second year processing fee will be $1,000.

All other fees remain the same. Contracts can be terminated but 50% of any remaining annual fees are due upon termination. Annual fees are non-refundable.
